Simple Plumbing Installations

With the wide range of fixtures on the market today, the homeowner is sure to find exactly what they want. But there are standards, and the possibility of failure owner, looking for something “special” to help them return home. The two main components of the system utility, water supply and removal of waste processing, and the internal plumbing system that distributes water and collects the garbage.

Utility Services

There are two main divisions of the utilities required in modern plumbing systems. They include the supply of fresh water (known as “potable water”), and wastewater discharge.

The supply of fresh water comes from two main types of services. If you are in a room where the water pipe is installed, you install a direct connection to the water townships. In rural locations, however, you have a good system type. In both cases it is important to perform beyond your supply lines at least 4 “below the soil line. This will cause water pipes freezing in cold weather. Most building is completed with pipes of copper, but more and more homes opt for installation of CPVC pipe, because the cost of installation is steadily downward.

To establish a direct connection, water is brought out under the foundation wall, and connected to a shut-off, installed by the local community provides. Some townships require installation of a water meter to accurately determine the amount of water you use for billing.

Well-type system is just a hole dug or drilled into the ground, where water accumulates. This type of system requires the use of a water pump to move water from the bottom of the pit, at home. Home is an automatic check that the pressure of supplied water control. Connected to this system is a pressure tank, which is designed to keep water under pressure for immediate use. Important to note that the greater the pressure tank, the lower the amount of pressure or “curly”, will offer.

Dug wells are not one of the more popular type of system. Although it is cheaper to install and operate, they tend to be prone to dry, and often have a higher bacterial levels. These are just a hole dug below the water table, the bottom filled with about 12 “of crushed stone, and walls of pre-cast concrete pipes as well.

Drilled wells are more expensive, and requires special equipment to install. They are a more constant supply of fresh water bacteria free. They are installed with large drilling equipment that drills into the ground below the water table with about twenty meters. The gap that remains is a long metal tube inserted to prevent surface run-off and caving in above ground.
